Option 4: Sell off the house and a bit of land and work to get planning permission to build on half of the property. |
The house at one time had planning permission to be subdivided into three apartments. That is why it has three kitchen and three electric meters. I have discussed the possibility of dividing the property as shown in the diagram and have a request into the Planning Office to do that very thing. The height of the land is equal to or slightly above the protective flood dike and so there is no reason why a person shouldn't be able to get permission to build as it is show. The area in question has been determined to be able to have up to three dwellings on it. I have also talked to the Highway Department and they have verbally given me permission to move the driveway back farther away from the bridge and put in an access/driveway behind the house so as to provide access to the building site in question. |
